All-Russian public organization "Russian Society of Cardiosomatic Rehabilitation and Secondary Prevention" is a voluntary, self-governing, non-profit organization.
The Scientific Council, Expert Council and the Management Board of the Society include leading specialists in the field of cardiology, neurology, pediatrics, pulmonology, endocrinology, clinical pharmacology and healthcare organization of the Russian Federation.
The Society has its own regional branches in 60 regions of Russia. The society consists of 28 scientific sections headed by renowned specialists and scientists.
The goal of the Society is all-round assistance to the development of a system of comprehensive patient rehabilitation and secondary prevention of cardiovascular diseases in the territorial entities of the Russian Federation, as well as combined (comorbid) diseases of the cardiovascular system and other body systems, the implementation of new methodologies and the latest achievements of science and technology in the field of medical rehabilitation and cardioprophylaxis into practical health care.
The Society organizes and conducts international and all-Russian conferences, symposia, schools-seminars, cooperative research.
The Society publishes the scientific-peer-reviewed medical journal «CardioСоматика» (Cardiosomatics).
